Cancellation Policy
Life happens — here's how to change an appointment, and what we ask when plans shift.
We hold your appointment time just for you, and a missed or last-minute cancellation is time we can’t offer to someone else who needs it. This policy keeps things fair for everyone and our schedule running smoothly.
Giving notice
If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. That gives us time to offer the spot to another patient. You can cancel or reschedule through your booking confirmation, or by contacting the clinic directly.
Late cancellations and missed appointments
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, and appointments missed without notice, may be subject to a fee. We understand that life happens — illness, emergencies and genuinely unavoidable situations are taken into account, so please let us know as soon as you can.
Arriving late
If you arrive late, we’ll do our best to see you, but your session may be shortened so it doesn’t run into the next patient’s time. Where a late arrival leaves too little time to treat you safely, it may be treated as a missed appointment.
A note on insurance
Cancellation and missed-appointment fees are set by the clinic. They are not covered by OHIP or extended health plans, so they can’t be direct-billed.
The simplest thing
If your plans change, just let us know as early as you can. A quick message is all it takes, and we’ll always do our best to find a time that works for you.
